Tacoma Defiance Fall 2-0 on Road at El Paso Locomotive FC

Tacoma Defiance (4-14-5, 17 points) on Saturday fell to El Paso Locomotive FC (8-7-8, 32 points) by a 2-0 margin at Southwest University Park.

Omar Salgado and Edson Partida each scored for Locomotive FC to help the club snap its eight-game winless streak. Tacoma now has a week off before returning home for its next two contests.

Partida’s goal came in the 32nd minute on an assist from Yuma Monsalvez, with left footed shot from the left side of the box to the bottom right corner.

Omar Salgado scored in the 70th minute right footed shot from the center of the box to the top right corner. The assist come from Drew Beckie who headed a pass following a corner.

Six players under the age of 20 saw action for Tacoma tonight, including one First Team player in Alfonso Ocampo-Chavez.
